ACCA Award

Actors' Equity Association has presented The Heart of Rock and Roll with the 2024 ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the first industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical. 

Actors' Equity Association has presented New York, New York with the 2023 ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the first industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical. 

Actors’ Equity Association presented a special ACCA Award honoring the resilience of the chorus during the pandemic at a ceremony marking the reopening of Equity’s New York City Audition Center.

Actors' Equity Association has presented Once on This Island with the twelfth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

At the ceremony to bestow the ACCA Award on the chorus of Once on this Island, Actors’ Equity Second Vice President and ACCA Chair Jen Cody presented an additional honor: the award for Outstanding Contribution to Chorus went to Rebecca Kim Jordan, who previously held the role.

Actors’ Equity Association has announced that Shuffle Along, Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed will receive the tenth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Actors' Equity Association today announced that An American in Paris will receive the ninth annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity’s Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.
